For 97 years, the Episcopal Actors’ Guild has been a community that celebrates and supports the talent and dedication needed to sustain a career in the performing arts. We’ve been here to help bridge the inevitable gaps that happen in performing arts careers so these artists can keep working in the career of their choice. During this unprecedented COVID-19 public health crisis, not only have all productions shut down but our performing arts community now finds their supplementary sources of income cut off as well.
Our small-but-mighty staff of three has been working around the clock from our makeshift home offices to ensure that NYC's actors, singers, and dancers who count on us receive the same fast, responsive, and compassionate help that they are used to getting from EAG.
Your gift will ensure that the services of EAG remain available for our city’s amazing performers "of all faiths, and none" during this difficult time.
Your tax-deductible donation helps NYC’s actors, singers, and dancers in more ways than you know:
$25 covers one co-pay for a doctor’s visit or a prescription.
$50 wards off food insecurity for one senior (age 65+) or disabled performer, providing a delivery of nutritious groceries while our onsite food pantry, the Actors Pantry, is temporarily unavailable.
$100 pays a quarterly AEA health insurance premium.
$250 pays utility arrears, keeping the lights, internet, or phone connected.
$500 pays a medical bill for an emergency room visit, chemo appointment, or emergency dental work.
$1,000 prevents eviction, helping someone stay in their apartment when NYS's current 90-day pause on evictions expires.
A THANK YOU FROM THOSE WE HELP
You have helped me sail through the storm. My belief in myself as an actor has been reinforced and my dignity as a person has been renewed.
