Guild Hall Covid-19 Safety Protocols

EAG's governing Council reviews our COVID-19 saftey rules on a regular basis. As of May 1, 2023, masks are strongly encouraged, but not required.
Wearing a Face Mask is Strongly Encouraged.
Wearing a well-fitted, high-filtration face mask is strongly encouraged but no longer required in Guild Hall, with the following possible exceptions:
  • Masks may be required for certain in-person classes at the discretion of the instructor. (Students will be informed ahead of time if masks will be required.)
  • Masks may be required for certain rental performances at the discretion of the event's producer. (Ticketholders will be informed prior to the performance if masks will be required.)

Stay Home If You Are Sick.
By entering Guild Hall, you are agreeing that you are not sick and are not currently testing positive for COVID. If you are a ticketholder for an event in Guild Hall and you are ill, please contact that event’s organizer if you want to discuss rescheduling or refunding your ticket. For EAG-produced events, please email office@actorsguild.org or 212-685-2927.

Capacity:
We are operating at full capacity for EAG events and rentals. A maximum capacity of 65 people is allowed in Guild Hall.

HVAC Improvements:
We have contracted with HVAC specialists, installed a commercial-grade HEPA unit, upgraded our existing mini split-system a/c units to add upper room UV disinfecting lights and an EPA registered disinfectant on the coils, and have installed a CO2 monitor.

Cleaning and Disinfection:
Frequently touched surfaces, such as handrails, doorknobs, and light switches will be disinfected throughout the day. Shared tools, equipment, and workspaces will be cleaned and disinfected prior to sharing. Common areas, like the bathroom and kitchenette, will cleaned and disinfected at least daily. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the space.
EAG’s staff is fully-vaccinated and boosted.

EAG reserves the right to reinstate mask and/or proof of vaccination requirements
at our discretion as circumstances dictate.
